Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 September 2026

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of Dusted Blocks (“Dusted”, the “Game”) at dusted.fun and in the Dusted iOS app, operated by Forward Systems GmbH, Auguststraße 47A, 10119 Berlin, Germany (“we”, “us”).

By playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Service Description

Dusted Blocks is a 150-second, two-player block puzzle duel. You can practise on your own, play a friend you invite with a link and, where offered, be matched with another player. During a match you can optionally talk to and see the other player by video and voice.

  • Friend matches are free to play. You do not need an account.
  • Results are decided by our game server. Its record of a match is authoritative.
  • The Game is in active development. Features may change, be added or be removed.

3. Age and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to play online matches and use video and voice. Younger players may only use the offline lesson and practice mode against the bot. The Game asks for your age group before you first play online.
  • If you are under 18, you must not share your face or voice with spectators, in broadcasts or in clips. Our servers never broadcast face or voice for a player marked as under 18.
  • You are responsible for the device, browser and connection you use to play.

4. Guest Play and Display Names

  • You play as a guest. Your guest identity is stored on your device; if you clear it, you start as a new guest and we cannot restore your previous one.
  • Your display name is visible to other players and, if broadcasting is allowed, to spectators. It must not be offensive or unlawful, impersonate another person, or contain personal contact details.
  • We may change or remove display names that break these rules.

5. Fair Play

Dusted is a game of skill between people. It is prohibited to:

  • Cheat, or use bots, scripts, macros, automation or any assistance that plays or suggests moves for you
  • Modify, decompile or tamper with the Game client, or intercept or alter its network traffic
  • Exploit bugs, or arrange results with another player (collusion, deliberate losing)
  • Send automated bulk requests, scrape the service or attempt to overload it
  • Circumvent technical protection measures, rate limits or access controls
  • Reuse or share another player’s invitation, session or access token

Assistive technology – switch control, screen readers, adaptive controllers, tap-to-place or keyboard play – is always allowed and is never treated as cheating.

Our own promise: every online match is against a real person. We never put bots into matches presented as games against people. The practice opponent is always clearly labelled as a bot, including when it keeps you company while the public queue looks for a rival.

How we enforce these rules. Automated fair-play checks (see the Privacy Policy, section 3m) only flag possible violations. A person on our team reviews the evidence and decides. Before we void results or suspend your access, we tell you what we found and give you the opportunity to respond. Where there are concrete indications of automated play or collusion, we may pause your access to public matches while the review runs; friend matches and practice stay available, and the pause ends if the review clears you. You can ask for any decision to be reviewed by a second person. Please report bugs you find to us instead of using them.

6. Conduct on Video and Voice

Camera and microphone start on in a match once your browser or device permission allows it, and you can switch them off at any time. You are responsible for what you show and say. It is prohibited to:

  • Show nudity, sexual content or sexual acts, or make sexual advances towards another player
  • Harass, bully, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone, or use hate speech
  • Show or share violent, illegal or rights-infringing content
  • Record, screenshot, stream or share the other player’s image or voice without their consent
  • Show other people who have not agreed to appear on camera

You can turn off your camera and microphone, mute the other player or leave a match at any time.

Reporting: to report a player or content, email hello@forwardsystems.ai with the date and time of the match, the display names involved and a short description. We review reports and may suspend access. Because calls are not recorded, please describe what happened as precisely as possible. In an emergency, contact the police (112 in the EU).

7. Broadcasts and Highlight Clips

  • You decide separately whether your board, face and voice may be shown to spectators (“Share on stream”). Face and voice are only shown while your camera or microphone is on.
  • Nothing is shared unless both players allow it; the more private choice applies.
  • Either player can revoke a spectator view, or withdraw their face, at any time.
  • Highlight clips are private to the two players. If you download or share a clip, you are responsible for having the other player’s consent where their name, board or likeness appears, and for complying with the rules of the platform you post to.
  • By allowing sharing, you give us a free, non-exclusive, revocable permission to show your board, display name and – if you allowed it – face and voice in the spectator view and in streams of that match, for as long as your permission lasts.

8. No Real-Money Play

  • Dusted does not offer play for real money. Friend matches are free.
  • Stakes are currently disabled. If and when we enable test stakes, they use test tokens on a blockchain test network. Test tokens have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or paid out, and may be reset or removed at any time.
  • Wallets for test stakes are provided by a third party (Privy) under its own terms.
  • Blockchain transactions are public and cannot be reversed or deleted.

9. Rights to the Game

  • The Game, including its software, design, graphics, sounds and voices, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  • We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Game for private, non-commercial play.
  • You may share highlight clips of your own matches for non-commercial purposes, subject to section 7.
  • We may use anonymized usage data to improve the Game.

10. Availability

Dusted is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, server restarts or network problems may cause temporary disruptions or end a running match. Video and voice depend on your device, browser and connection. We do not warrant that the Game is free of errors or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Liability

  • Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence
  • No liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss
  • Liability limitations do not apply to damages to life, body, or health, or where liability is mandatory under law (such as the German Product Liability Act)

We are not responsible for what other players show or say during a match, but we act on reports as described in section 6.

12. Termination

You may stop using Dusted at any time and delete your guest data by clearing site data in your browser or deleting the app. We reserve the right to suspend or block access for players who violate these Terms.

13. Changes

We may change these Terms at any time, for example when we add features. The current version is always available at dusted.fun/legal/terms.html, and material changes will be shown in the Game. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, to the extent permitted by law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law of the country in which you habitually reside.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@forwardsystems.ai.
